Filipino Mahjong Online ("the App") is a free-to-play multiplayer Filipino Mahjong game. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your rights.
Player display names. When you create or join a game room, you enter a display name. This name is sent to our game server so other players can identify you during the game.
The mobile app (iOS and Android) does not collect any analytics or usage data. Third-party analytics are disabled in the native app builds.
The web version at filipinomahjongonline.com may use PostHog for usage analytics. On web, this may include your in-game display name as a person property, along with product interaction events. No analytics data from the web version is linked to mobile app users.
The App stores a session token locally on your device to enable reconnection if you are temporarily disconnected during a game. This token is:
The iOS app does not include voice chat and does not request microphone access.
On platforms where voice chat is available, it is optional. When you enable voice chat:
RECORD_AUDIO permission on Android)The App connects to our game server via encrypted WebSocket (WSS) for real-time gameplay synchronization. All communication uses HTTPS/TLS encryption. No data is sent to any third-party servers from the mobile app.
We do not share, sell, or transfer any user data to third parties. There is no advertising in the App.
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App contains no user accounts, no chat, and no social features beyond the in-game display name visible to other players in the same room.
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
